Read Jonah 3 and the study guide for chapter 3, then answer the following questions

What evidence do you see here that God is the God of “a second chance”?
In response to God's word, what does Jonah do? The Ninevites? Their King?
How do you account for their response to Jonah's message? For God's change of heart [v.10]?
What does this say about God's will? About God's use of us to achieve it?

When has God given you 'two chances”? To be or do what? To witness where? When have you ignored a second chance? Why?
If God gave you “Mission Impossible,” 40 days after which the object would be destroyed would you do it? Why or why not?
When would you consider “fasting” and “putting on sackcloth,” as the Ninevites did? What is a “spiritual fast”?
