Assignment:

Read chapters 1 and 2 for class on May 31,

[pages 25-54]

The following questions are NOT homework, but discussion questions to go over in class. However, if you are not coming to class, then it's homework :)

1. Has your passion for prayer and spiritual things dwindled? What's keeping you from coming to God about that?

2. Have you been distracted lately? What has that looked like? What do you feel God is telling you about this?

3. Which battles do you feel you have to fight over and over? Begin searching the Word for scriptures to pray into that situation. Pray daily with expectancy, looking forward to victory.

Assignment Prayer

We write down countless things "so we don't forget"- grocery lists, appointments, calls that need to be made. Yet we often neglect to write down scriptures, answered prayers, and wisdom breathed into our lives by God.

Over the course of the next week, take time each day write down your favorite verses, testimonies, and words of wisdom. How have these things helped you in the past? How might they give you strength and focus now?

Spend time in prayer asking God to open your eyes and reveal the real enemy so that, as you read through and apply instruction in the book, your efforts will be focused where they will be the most effective.

Start thinking about drawing up a prayer strategy.
